Whether you bring your own photos or choose from beautiful old master works provided in class, Steve will guide you through creating a gorgeous portrait step-by-step.
Learn the art of translating a photographic image using tools like grisaille underpainting, a limited palette, and careful editing. Steve’s approachable and supportive teaching style will help you create a lively and poetic portrait, making classical techniques accessible to everyone.
